I am doing a 26 day HCG injection plan. I have only 1 injection to go and then I go into the next phase. Problem is: I was going to get my last injection tomorrow, but I just got my period. Should I still get it or wait? It is only 1 injection, so I can continue with the next step.. But I've read it will be like wasting it because it won't have any effect.. What would you do?

I agree with you on second chances nut uhm Vanessa Hudgens did not send dirty pics to Drake Bell. What I'm looking for are movies on vhs tapes or dvds, books or anybody who has knowledge about soccer practices/training from Holland, Italy,Spain,France, England or Argentina and would be willing to share with it. Or if somebody has some materials about the subject from clubs like FC Barcelona (especially when F.Rijkaard is in charge of the club), AC Milan, Olympique Lyon, ManU, Arsenal, any club from Argentina and could share, would be greatly appreciated. I don't know about getting actual practice footage. I can tell you that the Coerver method, widely available on ebay, etc..., are excellent. These tapes offer a series of drills, practices and all kinds of things that were (and are still being) used by Ajax during their heyday when they were producing superstarts like Crujff, Van Basten, Bergkamp etc...There are a variety of tapes/dvd for all different skill levels and positions. They worked wonders for me when I used them in the early to mid 90's...I ended up playing pro for a few years, and I attribute a lot of that to these tapes.

I know I'm not fat (I'm 5'7'' and 118 lbs), but thighs are really huge and jiggly. I want to have pretty thin/lean thighs before school (8th grade) starts up again. I'm also a type 1 diabetic, so no starving myself techniques please and thank you. What exercises would be good to lose thigh fat (mostly inner thigh fat) and tone them? Also, a good diet plan? My parents exercise we have this Gazelle machine and a bike thing. I have a nice neighborhood to run and walk my dog around, and also belong to a pool. So, any suggestions?? I have like almost 3 months..school starts around August 31st and its now the 17th of June.

Why not just do some walking every day, giving up on all drinks but water
and sticking to vegetables, salad and some fruits?

If your books have a bar code with the ISBN (most books published in the last 15-20 years have this), and your database program accepts scanned input, then you can get a bar-code reader and simply scan your books in. I don't know anything about bookTome, but I know that LibraryThing does this, and they'll even sell you a cheap bar-code reader.

The better database programs (and again, I really only have experience with LibraryThing) will also let you search by author and/or title, so you don't have to sit there typing incomprehensible strings of numbers.

Personally i think the entire Canadian team this year has a BIG chance at a medal if not gold definatley top 3, i think Patrick Chan of Canada will take a stab at the gold if he can lay it down like he did at the 2009 four continents , other medalists in mens i think could be France's Brian Joubert and one of the USA men. Jeremy Abbot is pretty good. Ladies i think clearly Yu Na Kim of Korea is a definate fav. How am i supposed to eat 1500 calories?

Ive been trying to lose weigt for the past month, but ive gotten so frustrated, i binge and gained a few pounds. I ate 800-1000 calories with some exercise but no weight loss so im going to try upping my calories, my BMR is 1700 plus activity i do which makes it 2000, They say to lose weight subtract 500 calories, which makes my weight loss calories 1500.
Ive been so used to eating 1000 and under calories for so long i have no idea how im going to get 1500 calories in a day.
Should i eat when im a teeny bit hungry but not completely hungry? Isnt that considered mindless eating though?
Should i pick higher calorie foods? Ive been eating more peanut butter to up my calories, but im just so sick of eating nuts and seeds and that still doesnt get me to 1500 calories..

Starving yourself will work short term, but it's ultimately a counter-productive strategy. Your body will begin to conserve energy during times of famine (your self-created calorie restrictive diet/famine) and you'll find yourself in what we like to call 'storage mode.'

To get your body in 'burn mode' you'll need to eat smaller meals more frequently. We suggest eating six times every day. If your goal weight is 140lbs, get 140 grams of protein every day. Divide it up into 6 portions and that's your target for each meal. You won't get 23 grams of protein at every meal, but use that number as a guide. A good in between meal snack would need to be at least 15 grams of protein and a meal might be 30 grams of protein. You need carbohydrates too, and a little bit of fat is needed as well! Keep your carbohydrate grams close to balanced with your protein grams throughout the day and you'll do well. Eat lots of fresh veggies and remember that fruit counts as a carbohydrate, so don't over-do!

okay well im at my friends house and they started doing alcohol. First they did 2 and a half of some 60% rum and than they got a little tipsey than about 2 hours later they decided to do more and they all did 2 shot of vodka and 1 shot of rum and than started sharing it from the bottle just taking small sips at a time ect. Now they have gone off to the park to meet up with some boys and they brought a 6 pack of beer. (theres five of them) They are all aged 14-15 and are all small and skinny. They havnt gotten drunk before so im worried they have done way too much and will get hurt. Im too scared to go with them because it will probably kick in soon. They have been gone about half an hour. Is this too much ? how drunk will they probably get? should i be worried? or will they probably just be tipsey and be fine? please dont laugh i dont know much about this sorta stuff.

they'll be leaning over the toilet puking soon. When it comes to the point that they are sick, throwing up, make sure they have a trash can each by their bed and they are laying on their side. Give them ice water also, they will just throw it up, but it will help a little. Don't get scared because they will be throwing up until the middle of tomorrow and they're going to want to sleep and not leave their bed.
As soon as they start showing sign of being drunk make sure you have a garbage can. And if they try to lay down with out throwing up first, have a garbage can, because they will get the spins and that's the worst thing ever it immediately triggers throwing up.
And since tomorrow they will feel dizzy, and notious all day it will be difficult for them to even walk to the bathroom. Comfort them, if they are throwing up DON'T rub their back, it will wake them puke more.

Don't worry, this may be the first time, but your not going to have to worry about it again. At least for a while.

I'm very cynical and sarcastic and want to change. Some of my friends thinks I'm negative and bring them down. In a way, I am more mature than many of my friends and instead of an obsession with Justin Bieber it's politics. I complain when I think something can be changed but ppl don't see the brightness to that and just hear me complaining. I feel that if we ignore the wholes in the school system they will never be fixed.. It's gotten to the point that when people tell me I should be a lawyer I think to my self I can't go near law I'd end up being a cynical 40- year old lawyer getting upset when the wrong person walks or wtvr.. I have always been this way, when I was younger it was cute, now I'm a teen and it's to be expected that I'm sarcastic, but I don't want this to be me forever. I don't care about my friends so much, they come and go, however I know this is really about me and my journey. How can I better myself and be more positive?! .....I have hung inspiration quotes on my wall and have them emailed to me everyday.....so any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

You seem to be on your way to change already because you do want to change. Though, I don't really think that it's wrong to be who you are. I hope you accept yourself and love yourself. Other than that, try to control what you say to people and somehow try to control your thoughts. It might sound impossible, however it is possible.

As for me, it's also not easy to stay positive when there's so much of opposite going on... Nonetheless, I try to count my blessings whenever I feel down, try to watch and read news less (if possible); whenever someone around starts complaining, I try to ignore it somehow.

and that one teeni bop song that is on his new album (i cant remember the name but you know that is a retarded song) so why is he getting so many "o hes the best rapper out right now" i just dont get it there are so many underground rappers better than him

He's talented to a very limited extent.
He's very lacking in some of the main aspects of rap. For instance, his multi-syllabic rhymes are crap. When you listen to him you can barely hear any its sad. Secondly his double entendres are sh*t. He has like one or two every now and then but they're weak and he has no triples. At all.

There are a few reasons why he's popular and none of those are because he's very skilled.
1. He sings and releases a lot of R&B crap which is the usual corny soft stuff.
2. Though he has very weak multis he tries to rhyme the end of his lines as best as possible. For some reason this translates as having a catchy sound.
3. People like his beats so they judge him on that because he's a mainstream artist and they don't look at his multis and doubles.

Most rappers make their own beats, its just the producers mess with them and decide how to put what they make together.
Of most rappers sample every now and then too or buy beats.

So about a month ago or so a few friends of mine go to this local bar in the town. Right away I noticed the bartender is very attractive. My ideal type of girl. Anyway, there is not much interaction with us two between the time I am there until the last call. I remember my friend Rachel to my right spilling her drink and blaming it on me saying 'Way to go Ryan" jokingly of course. I then catch the bartender saying "Yeah Ryan way to go...it''s your fault Ryan....all your fault Ryan." At the time I felt this was odd just because she was repeating my name so much, but I wrote it off. I took awhile off before I went back. I'd say about a month off. Anyway, the next time I went in I sat down and she takes my ID and jokingly tells me she can't serve me because it's not me in my picture. After about five minutes of her just messing with me she brings me my drink. An hour or two goes by and I begin to mingle with some friends I came with. My friend Krystle who I am with at the time gets up to go go the bathroom and the bartender proceeds to ask me if that is my girlfriend to which I say no, she's just my friend. Later on during the night I go to her to get another drink but I tell her no beer or shots because I am on a trict diet (which is true). She laughs and later comes back with some sort of bubble gum vodka drink and then later on with a "Rang tang'....tangerine vodka. She asks me why I eat healthy and I tell her well I bike 15 miles a day and I've lost a condiserable amount of weight doing so. We're now at the end of the night and she gives me my bill. I tip her well, but not overboard. So as I am walking out she hands me apples, oranges (because of my health kick I assume). I go in the week later she asks how those apples and oranges were. That night goes well. She continues to make more drinks for me and while a few other guys around me ask her to make something new for them she just walks away. My friends think she is flirting with me, but not just for tips, but because she is interested. I, however, kind of think its for tips. Does my story make anyone lean a certain way? Not to toot my own horn, but since my weight loss, I have gathered way way more attention from females.

Anyone in the food and bev. business love tips, but the person serving you this that or the other is still just a person and if you get the impression that she may be interested in you than she more than likely is.

Here's my suggestion: Keep being casual around her, and keep letting her serve you. Continue tipping a worthy amount and simply get to know her. I am high school sophomore. I currently have a weighted 96 GPA (roughly a 4.0, according to Princeton Review), am enrolled, on average, in 2 or 3 Pre AP classes a year, have a great grasp (I wouldn't say fluent, but by the end of the end of high school I will be) in Spanish and French (as well as, of course, my native English), have won numerous Journalism awards, am involved in UIL Academic Team, Newspaper, Debate and Speech, FCS (Fellowship of Christian Students), Spanish Club, French Club (I'm on the French Club Social Committee), Student Council, and the Eco Club. I have been published in my city's newspaper as well as my school's and hold an internship with my suburb's local paper.
I volunteer at the local library, zoo (this summer alone I volunteered 118 hours), and history museums. My volunteer hours as of now are roughly 250-300.
Since I am not old enough to hold a real job, I also grade papers for a second grade teacher (I don't know what good this will do on my application, but...)

I read some reviews about ski hire boots and it seems nobody had any good experiences:( It's my first skiing holiday in 2 weeks time and I decided against buying at the moment, I've been training once a week on a dry slope/indoor ski centres for the last half a year using hire boots and skis and they seemed ok, if a little dated..So my question really is-would that be true that ski hire shops gear is uncomfortable/old fashioned/very worn/smelly(!?)? . My size is 23.5 mondo, I believe quite a popular size, is there a chance the hire shop might run out of boots in this size? Resort we're going to is in Italy, Bormio. Thank you for any opinions.

The only problem I had with ski boot hire when learning, is that they were extremely uncomfortable and made my feet sore. It made the learning experience almost 100 times worse. However, they were the back loading kind, which made the easier to flip off when resting at a pit stop. They certainly smelled after I had used them for a week. I am not sure if they smelled too bad when I got them.

When you are learning, it is probably fine to have old smelly boots as you will not be using their full functionality while learning. You will spend most of the time walking up and down, and side slipping, rather than tearing down black runs putting a lot of pressure on the plastic.

Perhaps you could get a moulded foot bed before you go which you can insert into the hire boot! That might make them more comfortable...

You might find ski boot prices are fairly cheap in Italy, so have a look around when you are there.

I have been doing the weight watchers diet and successfully loosing 1-2lb a week which i am happy with but I have a wedding to go to this sat and my dress is still a little tight! does anyone know of a quick fix i can stick to for 5 days just to loose that little extra to get in my dress comfortably. You need to make sure he is getting enough protein (at least 60gm/day), which you can do by putting protein powder in his blended drinks, or giving him ready-made supplements (Ensure, Boost or similar). Double-strength milk can be made by adding powdered milk to the milk in recipes, or to the milk he drinks.
You can put soups with vegetables or meat in the blender. If you give him table foods, add chicken stock and blend to the desired consistency. He will, no doubt, enjoy his food more if it tastes good. DO NOT give him baby food, as it has less food value than home-made.

If you are going for a month, definitely Paris. You will run out of things to do and see in Milan after 4 days. You could live in Paris for a year like I did and still not do and see everything you wanted.

Obviously it's going to be better anywhere if you speak the language. I find more people in Paris now speak English than they do in Milan. In Italy you are really lost if you don't speak the language, unless you stick to touristy places. In Paris, so many young people go to the UK to work, so lots are now studying English. But if you speak French, you'll have a much better time.

Personally I would spread out your weight lifting a bit, and move the cardio days on Saturday and Sunday between your weight lifting days. Also, you want to be strenuously lifting weights, ideally 3 sets of 8-10 reps at the maximum weight you can manage. If you can still lift another set at that weight after you finish the third set then your weight isn't high enough.
Also, try to get any carbs in your diet for breakfast and directly after your diet, and avoid carbs in your evening meal if at all possible.

I am in a play with a small cast, so we've gotten to know each other very well. I have made friends with this girl. (When they're not) And then she put the entire cast and crew into "fake relationships" and guess what.. She put us into one. I'm 6'3, around 245. I admit that I really don't like being big and bald (started losing hair at age 17, did transplants but ended up with thinning hair in front and none in back, so I shave my head about once a month), but there isn't much I can do to fix any of it....stem cell research won't come up with a cure for baldness for at least a decade, I obviously cannot alter my height, and even extreme weight loss won't change my bone structure.

I'm not trying to fish for compliments....I'm just trying to get a new perspective on things. I admit that I'm really, really depressed to realize that I'm always going to be seen as a big, bald guy, and the fact that it's become fashionable (Vin Diesel, Michael Chiklis) doesn't really comfort me....most of the big bald guys I've seen are sort of oafish and old-fashioned, and I'm really not interested in the kind of girl who needs a man to be big and strong and protect her.

I would have to say Justin Bieber. This is because he's not as much of an autotuned whore as Ke$ha and is okay at singing. Ok,so my mom got divorced with my dad,and now she has found a boyfriend from the Internet I think,and he is a doctor. OK, well since I have the perspective of someone on the outside, it's easy for me to see the points on both sides.
Your moms boyfriend makes some valid points about some potentially bad habits like eating meals in front of the TV.
There was a time when mealtime was not just for eating food, but a time when the family would gather at the table and have a bonding experience by sharing conversation, and the events of their daily lives.
When you eat in front of the TV, you are robbed of that experience, and maybe your mom's boyfriend understands the value of this, and wants you to realize that it is better than TV at anytime, if it is done right.

However, it isn't fair for him to expect to just walk in to YOUR family, and just start imposing HIS ideals on you. He needs to present his ideas to you in a fair and tactfull manner.
I agree with you on your point that he is going at this in all the wrong ways, but I think his intentions are good.
Perhaps if you looked at your situation with him with the idea that he means well, it would help you to deal with him better.

I have tried every diet out there and not losing weight walk faithfully daily, been doing a gym 3 times a week i can not lose nothing i went to dr about the gastric bypass and had the testing done and going to my meetings like the dr said i have a bmi of 35 i weight in at 204 or 205 but i lost a lot of weight in the past 2 weeks i went down 15 pounds the doctor did another test on me and found that i have sugar it is running 300 - 500 i am giving myself injections for it and taking a pill..

I was wondering if anyone knew if that sugar being that high and with the weight that i am sure that i will gain back will give me a better chance in getting the gastric bypass? It is something I really need for other health reason to name a few sleep apnia---- fatty liver ---- shortness of breath-- on inhaler for that--- i do have the cpap machine for sleeping. depression

If the consulate is being unhelpful, you may need to do that when you are already in Italy, at the questura. This is not great news, they are notorious for giving bad information and making people wait forever. If you do qualify, you'll have to prove that you have sufficient means to support yourself while you are in Italy. You may also have to provide proof of health insurance for the period you will be in Italy. Most people I know have gotten so frustrated trying to obtain these that they just do without them, and stay as long as law permits without a visa or a little longer.

My cousin just emailed me that she is going to Italy with her husband and 6 month old baby for a week vacation. We told her she's nuts. But she doesn't understand the concept of relaxing and obviously is unaware of the logistics of traveling with a baby.

I think it's a HUGE undertaking....why?

1. Long flight....no space....no escape from a crying baby especially if the baby is having problems equalizing pressures because of the altitude.
2. Jet lag and not being able to sleep the way you will want because you will be tending to a baby.
3. There will be more of a focus on the baby's needs than being able to enjoy the surroundings....nap times, diaper changes, etc.
4. Italy should be romantic and adventurous....kind of hard to do when you have a baby present.

If they can afford it they might want to take someone with to watch the baby otherwise wait until the baby is older and have a relative help out stateside.

I love swimmers for I did it some years ago and did pretty well too - started also very late in school

Just keep practicing, and when others want to tell you something like you will never make it or you are not good enough, just keep your head up and train, that is where the technique and ability lie in, train and train more, and then some more again.

I usually did 5am - 7am, went to school, 14H00 to 18h00 again, and then some gym and running in between. Just keep going and don't loose hope - you are at perfect age.

i have a dog with severe allergies confirmed by testing to various animal proteins, chicken being one of them (she was allergic to raw chicken, raw meat in general when tried on a raw food diet for six months) ... lamb is also found to be more and more allergenic, it used to be a unique protein source and really is not anymore ... if it were me i would put the dog on a fish-based diet ... and starting a new diet, it can take up to four months to see if there is improvement and the dog should be given not one single treat or anything but the food otherwise you will never know what the allergy truly is ... wellness is a good one ... a limited ingredient diet is the best ... less to be allergic too ... nature's balance makes a limited ingredient diet with sweet potato and salmon ... it comes in kibble, canned and treats ... and it is grain free which is also great for allergic dogs ... since putting my dog on the nature's balance she is off all allergy medication and she lived for 10 years on prednisone and antihistamines just to be comfortable ... be sure to not give the dog things like pigs ears or processed dog treats ... good luck ...

Hii first off i would love to say you have a perfect body and there is nothing wrong with it. You could use a little bit of toning up but dont do anything drastic. Also you dont need to lose weight but maybe try a few thigh excerises because my friend is exactly like you: She is very skinny but has bigger thighs so maybe look at Cosmo Girl and Seventeen for great excerise!!

There's this boy that I really got along well with from this music group, the group would meet every week for a workshop but now its over, I really miss him. The girls in my group said that they think he had a crush on me but I'm not sure if its because they like him too or something?? I have to admit, I have a crush on him too. It seems that everything I do seems dull. I can't do anything fun without thinking about him and it becoming not as good as if I were with him. We have each other on facebook but I don't have his number so I'm not sure about talking to him on facebook, what if doesn't like me. I don't know what to do. I am driving to San Gennaro's Feast ,In Little Italy ,New York. I am coming from Connecticut. I know the best way is to take the Merritt Parkway South. The Merritt Parkway turns into the Hutchinson Parkway. When I reach Manhattan where to go from there? You may find this unbelieveable but, I usually find a parking spot in the street near Canal,Mulberry or Mott's.

If you are taking the Merritt/Hutchinson...

The Hutch turns into the Cross County...follow that to the Major Deegan (87) South.

follow the Major Deegan down to the Triboro Bridge, but follow the Bridge to Manhattan instead of continuing on to Queen. Once over the Bridge...take the FDR Drive South.. Get off at Delancey St for Little Italy...

I assume you know your way from there.

it was 2 months ago when my best friend and i went to the woods an ex-convict appeared he took my friend by the neck and beat him to death he told me "you tell the police ur next". and ran off while he was running i grabbed my personal crowbar and hit him in his weak spot he was unconcious so i went back home. i was scared to tell anyone so i burried my friend and went back home. ps.im 10 years old R.I.P Drake Johnson........u were a great friend......what should i do.. i know i dont want to tell the police..

I don't believe that a 10-year old would no the word "ex-convict," and if a 10-year old did, he/she would probably not have the hyphen. Second, I don't believe you would have a "personal crobar" available. Third, I think someone would notice your friend's abscence. Fourth, I don't think a 10-year old would have the strength/concentration to dig a grave.

However, if this is true, tell someone! Why would you post it here?! The police could find this, the convict guy could find this, anyone! TELL SOMEONE!

There are two sides to this, sometimes those with this attitude, are great at fresh starts thereby eliminating fear. We need to see that we can Champion something! In health matters, especially, also in all matters. Defeat is the worst feeling we can have. We can stay in a defeated state too long, so I am all for being a Champ for something.

On the flip side, it can be a devastating reality depending on the revenue within the Heart. When I am low, I turn to God, and He always lifts me out of the ashes. His love, is merciful and His strength abundant. When we recognize how insignificant we are, turning to Him, He causes us to have hope, and we are risen again. That is one good thing, being flat out on your back with nothing, sometimes leads you to everything. For me it is God! Believe comes before Know!
