Nutrition is soo confusing- trying to figure out which is best for overall health (not just weight loss) vegetarian or an eating plan similar to Primal Blueprint (heavy on plants and meats-grain free, dairy free)

Any diet that meets your daily nutritional needs is healthy. Some diets make it more difficult than others. For example, vegetarians may not get enough protein, zinc, iron, calcium and vitamin B12. However, if they eat enough beens and leafy greens, they can get all of these micro-nutrients, except vitamin B12, which you cannot get from plants. Vitamin supplements may be needed if your diet restricts too many food groups.
