Dancers diet question?

Hey guys! So I'm a dancer. I dance 11 hours a week (mostly ballet) and I would love to lose about 15 pounds.
I get so confused because when I look up dancers diets it always mentions how about half of your calorie intake should be carbs. It's confusing because carbs also cause a rise/fall level in your blood sugar.
Also with atkins diet- how could that work for me? If Im supposed to be eating all those carbs (as listed above) how cab atkins possible be good for me? Is it healthy for a dancer?
What are your tips for me? I'm 5'2 15years old and I weigh 120 pounds.
I'm on a low calorie diet 1100-1300 calories a day. (as of now) what is proper nutrition for someone like me? Anything will be helpful!!

First of all, those "dancer diets" are SCAMS, a REAL dancer diet consists of eating healthy 2000-2500 calories a day WHILE taking dance technique classes 6-7 days a week.

You're perfectly fine for your height and weight.

No dancer can survive on anything less than 2000 calories a day for very long.

Recipes for warm foods that are low fat?

im on a diet and im not eating bread, meat(except for chicken),desserts, junk food,all drinks(except water). so basically what i can eat is chicken, wheat, veggies and fruits.

i want something good,with lots of flavor. i also want something warm because when it gets cold,warm food tastes better. any recipes with veggies or fruits?

A baked apple filled with raisins and sprinkled with cinnamon and a bit of brown sugar or drizzled with honey. Chicken soup (homemade) filled with good veggies. You can also add diced tomato to the chicken broth and veggies to give it a Mexican flavor. Add cumin and a bit of hot pepper or chilies to give it a bit of zing. It is also said that spicy ingredients help with weight loss and help satisfy the appetite.

anyone have diet tips which include exercise? I would like to drop around 8 pounds in 2 weeks, and need help. Should I exercise and cut down on carbs? do a cleanse? liquid diet?

Can't believe these answers. There is no point in a detox if your body doesn't have toxins to begin with. Also if you fast you will pass out, I guarantee you. Watch what you eat, exercise obviously helps but a diet is more important. Eat healthy food, anything you can make yourself, meaning learn to cook. Eating processed junk is the main reason people have trouble losing weight.
