I have a Jack Russel Terrier that suffers from seizures. Hes been on phenobarbital which works for about 1 to 2 months until he has a bad cluster. The Vet diagnosed him with epilepsy however im starting to doubt this as he can go fine for an extended period of time without medication. I heard that hypoglycemia can cause seizures and my dogs diet is just pedigree can and dry food with shmackos for occasional treats. Does pedigree contain any natural sugar? More importantly will a change of diet ease my dog's seizures
Answer on Does Pedigree dog food contain any natural sugar?
Diet has NOTHING to do w/seizures,dear.
IDIOPATHIC epilepsy is incurable....only controlled/helped by meds.-be glad yours responds at all.
