In Christianity, is it a sin to watch/read and enjoy lustful romances, horror, etc.?

Is anything other than pure stories and entertainment a sin? I mean, I love my True Blood, Dexter, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, etc. (which all have plenty of swearing, sex, and gore) and I honestly don't know if I'm sinning by enjoying these things since I'm just watching a scripted show and not actually advocating these real-life acts or committing them. I get confused with what is actually considered wrong by God and what corrupt churches have come up with...

P.S. Is Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc. "wrong" as some churches believe, as they contain "sorcery"- why would that be wrong? Doesn't it even mention witches and such in the bible itself?
