Knowledgeable people, a little help with my diet so far?

So, I started my diet last Sunday.

I knew I would lose more weight initially because every other time I've dieted in my life I always lost at least two pounds a day for a couple of days and then half a pound or less the following days.

So the first two days I lost 4 pounds, I'm guessing that's just "water weight?...But since Tuesday I've lost nothing, absolutely nothing. I've been eating healthier than I ever have in my entire life, and exercising every day at home. I usually go to the park and walk/jog two miles and then do some toning exercises once in the morning and once at about 3pm. Am I doing something wrong here?...I can't take any kind of weight loss pills, so that isn't an option. I also only eat a few small meals throughout the day still everything is healthy and low calorie. So, my questions, what could I do to help my weight loss happen a little more quickly? Am I expecting too much too soon?...and...When is it best for me to exercise? In the morning BEFORE I eat or after I eat? Should I exercise twice a day still? I'm trying to build muscle as well, so I don't know am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like you're doing everything right so far with eating and exercise. Although, I have a question: how much fiber and protein are you getting? You shouldn't be eating refined breads. They tend to store more fat in your body and can lead to digestive issues. Whole grains have fiber, which helps keep you fuller, longer and makes your metabolism faster. You should eat these before you exercise. You burn it for energy. Also, protein helps burn fat and build more muscle. Foods high in protein are chicken/turkey, beans, nuts. Eat this after you exercise.

Remember, you're only supposed to lose 1-2 pounds per week, and you've already doubled that within the first day! What you should do is weigh yourself once a week in the morning before you eat, while your food from the day before is digested and there is nothing your system. This is your "true" weight. Weight fluctuates everyday so that's why you shouldn't do it everyday.

Also, you should ALWAYS eat BEFORE you exercise. Otherwise, you just won't have anything to burn. If there's nothing to burn, you can't expect your body to function properly while you exercise. You might end up passing out.

Also, drink lots and lots of water!

Please help - Wife might be bi?

So, she is 24 and I'm 26, we were childhood friends and even came out together to our parents. Things started getting serious about 10 years ago now, and we got married a year and a half ago.

We've only been involved with each other (positive about myself and 98% sure on her), but I feel like she's always looking at and flirting with guys. She denies it of course, but I haven't been able to get serious about it with her. I love her to death and she means so much to me, how can I approach her about this? I'm 100% gay but sometimes I have my doubts about her, and if she really feels that way about guys, how can I deal with that?

We are best friends and do everything together, and we're very intimate. I don't think it's a problem with us, but I don't want her hiding something from me. At the same time, the thought of her with a guy really doesn't sit well with me. Please help, any advice?

Answer on Please help - Wife might be bi?

I am not gay or bi but I still have my best girlfriends. I don't think I 'flirt" with them and I certainly never have thought or had sex with them. Someone on the outside however might perceive our friendships to be flirting because we laugh, touch each other when we talk etc. Maybe, your wife has male friends that she acts flirty towards; if it bothers you - talk to her.
