Answer on How did Benito Mussolini change Italy into a fascist country?
After all the deaths and chaos of WW1, Italy was in disarray, politically and economically. Some people were leaning towards democracy and others were leading towards communism. Benito Mussolini came along at the right time to pitch his idea that he could restore Italy to its former glory.
He was considered very charismatic, built up the military and even invaded Ethiopia. The Italian people followed him and his fascist regime, until it crumbled during WW2!
