ok so i'm trying to plan out some snacks/ meals for my 1,200 "diet." so how does this sound? scrambled eggs made from egg beaters with some spinach, bell peppers, and cheese, with 2 slices low fat bacon, 1 piece of light bread/ toast, and 1/2 cup of berries. does anybody know about how many calories this would be? so is this pretty healthy? if not, how can i make it better? thanks!
Answer on Is this a healthy breakfast? how can i make it healthier?
I am sure the box of egg beaters states the amount of calories if not then compare it to about 20 calories per egg white.
It sounds really healthy. You've got your carbs (bread), sugar and fiber (fruit), vitamins and minerals (veggies) protein (eggs)...
The only way to really make it healthier is to omit the bacon and cheese. Although i wouldn't...Just make sure to not put too much cheese, it is high in sat fat...and maybe try turkey bacon?
