I really don't know what to do and I'm just at a point where I've been hating myself and thinking about it all the time. Here's my problem, I'm 'skinny' as most people would consider it, but im actually not. My fat isn't in visible areas like my arms or legs or boobs, it goes to my stomach. And I know that so I usually wear loose shirts. Im 16, weighing at 110 lbs which makes my BMI normal and 5'3, but i have NO boobs at all which just makes me look so stupidly disproportionate but I have an ALMOST 30 inch waist. Yeah its that bad, for boobs, I can barely reach an A cup, but my hips are HUGE too, like 36 inches. Its horrible and I hate myself for it, I dont know what to do. I've seen beauticians, nutritionists, family doctors, plastic surgeons (who just gave me tips, they couldnt operate on me) and Ive done so many diets, work outs, I ate healthy for a while (I'm getting back into now that summer is over)... I'm bloated all the time and I feel like crap. All my friends also give me sh*t for it because they don't see my stomach so they don't believe me. Yes I will tell you now I have self esteem issues and when people say I'm really skinny it just makes it worse. I feel like if I ever got into a bikini i'd disappoint and disgust them (ok I know I shouldnt care about what my friends think, but i do) Can you just give me tips on losing the fat in my stomach or AT LEAST gaining fat in my boobs so im a little more shapely in the right areas. I also heard when your generally skinny but you have a big stomach it might mean youre diabetic? My dad and his mom are, so maybe I might be? And please, this has been one of my major issues for the past 2-3 years and no, I dont have an eating disorder, nor will I. Please and thank you so much.
Answer on I'm skinny everywhere else but ALL my fat goes to my stomach and I can't take it?!?
jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
